About ME

Hi, I’m Astrid! 

I’m a Costume Designer / Stylist based in central London, with a second home in Berlin. Originally from Germany, where I was running a fashion business, I have been living in the UK for 29 years. Since then, I‘ve been involved in international projects, greatly enjoy travelling and working on location across the UK, or overseas. 

With nearly 3 decades of industry experience in costume departments and credits for film, TV and & a broad range of media productions, I work with award winning broadcasters and independent film companies alike, bringing stories & characters to life. I love the transformational process in working out how a costume affects the actors' performances and function within their settings (download credits). 

Inspired by all aspects of visual storytelling I extended my skill-set and studied photography, which enabled me to lift creative ideas to another level. Both my careers feed each other perfectly.
